Refund policy

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

Brand: Bamburry | Avish Lifestyle Effective Date: May 14, 2026


1. Return Window

We accept return requests within 7 days of the delivery date. Requests raised after 7 days will not be accepted under any circumstances.

To initiate a return, contact us at support@bamburry.com or call +91 92747 20787 within the return window.


2. Conditions for Return Eligibility

A return request will only be accepted if the following conditions are met:

  • The product is unused and unwashed
  • All original tags and labels are intact and attached
  • The product is in its original packaging
  • The return request is raised within 7 days of delivery

Any product that does not meet the above conditions will fail inspection and no refund will be processed. The product will be returned to the customer at their cost.


3. Inspection Policy

All returned products go through a mandatory quality inspection upon receipt at our facility. Bamburry reserves the right to reject a return if:

  • The product shows signs of use, washing, or damage
  • Tags, labels, or original packaging are missing or tampered with
  • The product received does not match the return request details

Refunds are processed only after successful inspection. If inspection fails, the product will be sent back to the customer and no refund will be issued.


4. How Returns Are Picked Up

Option A — Self-Ship (Recommended) The customer arranges their own courier to ship the product back to our address. We recommend using a tracked courier service. Bamburry is not responsible for loss or damage during return transit.

Option B — Bamburry-Arranged Pickup If the customer is unable to arrange self-shipment, Bamburry can arrange a reverse pickup. The pickup and return logistics charges will be borne by the customer and will be deducted from the refund amount at actuals.

Pickup serviceability is subject to availability in your pin code. We will confirm at the time of your return request.


5. Refund Policy

Refunds are processed only after successful inspection of the returned product.

Refund Timelines (as per RBI guidelines and payment method):

Wallets 3–7 business days

Refunds will be credited to the original payment instrument used at the time of purchase. No cash refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

Shipping charges are non-refundable. If you paid a shipping fee at checkout, only the product amount will be refunded. Shipping charges will not be returned.


6. Exchange Policy

We offer exchanges within 7 days of the delivery date, subject to:

  • Product meeting all return eligibility conditions (Section 2)
  • Availability of the requested size, print, or colour in our current inventory

Exchange shipping (reverse pickup and re-delivery) is arranged and fully covered by Bamburry at no cost to the customer.

If the requested size, print, or colour is not available, the request will be treated as a return and a refund will be processed per Section 5.

7. Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

Refused or Failed Delivery: If a COD order is refused at the time of delivery, or if delivery fails due to customer unavailability beyond two attempts, the order will be returned to us. Since no payment was made, no refund is applicable.

Partial COD Orders: If your order was placed as a partial COD (partial prepaid + partial COD) and you fail to accept delivery, no refund will be processed on any portion of the order, including the prepaid amount.


8. Non-Returnable Situations

Returns will not be accepted in the following cases:

  • Return request raised after 7 days of delivery
  • Product used, washed, or altered in any way
  • Missing tags, labels, or original packaging
  • Product damaged due to customer misuse
  • Items purchased during a sale or at a discounted price (unless defective)
  • Refused or undelivered COD orders

9. Defective or Wrong Product

If you receive a defective product or an incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photographs of the product and packaging

We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you, including shipping. This is separate from the standard return policy and not subject to return charges.
