Bamburry exists because of that one thought. Every fabric we use is GOTS-certified organic cotton, one of the safest fabrics you can put on a baby's skin. Grown without pesticides, processed without harsh chemicals, and needs the least chemical processing from field to clothing. That means fewer chemicals anywhere near your baby.
Every seam is flat-locked so nothing rubs. Every snap is nickel-free so nothing irritates. The inside of our clothes feels exactly like the outside, because that's the part your baby actually wears.

Why we chose organic cotton ?
Cotton is already a natural fibre but conventional cotton carries a heavy chemical load. It accounts for 16% of the world's insecticide use despite covering only 2.5% of farmland. Organic cotton changes that: no synthetic pesticides, no chlorine bleach, no formaldehyde — and up to 91% less water used in the process.
What reaches your baby has gone through significantly fewer chemical steps to get there. That's not a marketing claim. It's what organic certification actually verifies.
It also happens to be one of the softest things a baby can wear. That part, we didn't have to compromise on.

What fabric are Bamburry clothes made from?
100% GOTS-certified cotton, 200 GSM. That means it holds shape through wash after wash, feels smooth against newborn skin, and breathes in India's heat. No synthetics, no shortcuts
My baby has sensitive skin. Is Bamburry safe?
Every piece has flatlock seams (no raised ridge pressing on skin), a tagless interior, and GOTS-certified dyes independently verified, we removed every construction detail that commonly causes irritation.
Will the clothes stay soft after washing?
Yes - that's specifically why we chose 200 GSM fabric and a fine 40s yarn count. Lighter baby clothing often goes rough by wash five or ten. Ours holds its feel. Wash cold, gentle cycle, no fabric softener.
How do I choose the right size?
Use our weight-based size guide on each product page not just the age label. If your baby sits between two sizes, go one up. Our fabric has a natural stretch and fits comfortably, not restrictively. Still unsure? Message us - we'll help.
